A well-planned shoot day can create content for a whole season. Here is how we approach one, from the first brief to the final edit.
Morning: set the scene
We start with the most important shots while the light is soft and everyone is fresh — usually hero images and portraits.
Midday: details and process
Hands at work, textures, products in use. These smaller images become the connective tissue of a feed.
Afternoon: flexible content
Short clips, flat lays and spare backgrounds with space for text, ready for announcements and stories.
- Shot list printed and shared
- Props and styling packed the night before
- A plan for light and timings
- Time set aside for a quick review before wrapping
